iDS is an iOS app for the Department of Digital Systems at the University of Piraeus
iDS is an app dedicated to the Department of Digital Systems, University of Piraeus. It provides on-the-go information about news, course schedule, job listings, map directions and useful contacts. The app is compatible with iPhone (supports iOS 18 or later) and iPad (iPadOS 18 or later).

If you like the app, you can also check out our Facebook page.
Get all the latest news right on your iPhone screen. There is even a widget you can put in your home screen to have instant access to the course schedule of the day. To activate the widget tap and hold your home screen, then tap the plus button on the top left and select the iDS widget. The widget updates its content automatically every day or every time you view it.

View detailed course information including hours, location and professor.
Take a look at the map to easily find key locations around the Department. If you have location services on, you can get directions right from where you are, or see public transport information about buses and trains that pass by the University area. You can also view a detailed weather forecast for the day when you tap the temperature or humidity pills at the bottom of the map.

Keep notes within the app. Notes are synced automatically across your devices. Started a note on your iPhone and want to continue writing it on the iPad? No problem, Handoff is supported too. Notes rely on Apple's CloudKit framework, so in order to enjoy this functionality you need an iCloud account.

No need for signup or account creation. Just write your notes and iCloud does the syncing job in the background.
iDS also includes a watchOS app to view the department's news, maps, schedule, and even weather, right on your Apple Watch screen. Push notifications are also forwarded to the Apple Watch for quick access to important alerts.

The Watch app is only available on iPhones running iOS 18 or later and supports watchOS 11 or later. iPads do not support Apple Watch pairing.
You can view the release notes for current and past iDS versions here.
